There has been some good news in the fight against neuroblastoma. Dr. Andras Heczey has been working on a new treatment for neuroblastoma that has previously shown much success in some lymphomas and some leukemias. Of his research with neuroblastoma, he said “So far, in one child, a metastasis went away, and a tumor shrank considerably. And that’s just from the lowest dose. In another child, the cancer appears to have stopped growing and spreading.” Heczey’s awaiting results on others. He is hoping to use this treatment to cure children with neuroblastoma.
