Understanding Neuroblastoma
Neuroblastoma is a rare and aggressive pediatric cancer that is a solid tumor cancer most commonly found near the adrenal glands (located on top of the kidneys and in the chest). It originates from neural crest cells called neuroblasts in the sympathetic nervous system where nervous system tissue is present. Though the cause of neuroblastoma is unknown and there are no specific drugs or treatments available, The Super Jake Foundation is committed to funding research to change this.
